Recently, actor Piolo Pascual went under fire after a video of him and his son Iñigo kissing went viral. This isn't the first time that the two were maliciously attacked as they are known to be very intimate and expressive with each other.
Piolo previously addressed the issue saying: “Up to this moment, I kiss my mom on the lips. Ganu’n kaming magkakapatid. (That’s how I and my siblings are.) It’s nice to be physical with your loved ones. Ganu’n kami pinalaki (We were raised that way.), ”
He also noted that his son isn't letting the comments get to him, saying: “Mas matured pa nga sa ‘kin ‘yung anak ko [My son is even more mature than I am].
Blessing kaya ‘yun,” Piolo added.
Just recently, comedian Vice Ganda defended Piolo during an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice.
“Wala akong nakitang mali,” he said.
He used pets as comparison, saying: “Kung kaya natin at walang masama para sa atin na humahalik ng hayop, bakit may malisya kapag humalik sa anak? I just don’t get the point.”
He also urged everyone to respect the relationship of the two: “Kung may problema ka sa paghalik ni Inigo kay Piolo, ikaw ‘yung may problema.
E bakit ‘di mo halikan habang nabubuhay?” he added.
You enjoy and savor each moment that you are together.”
