Filipina Singer Morisette Amon Was Asked By Jessie J On Stage For A Duet And She Definitely Killed It!


During celebrity concerts, there are instances when the main act invites supporting singers or background performers to share the stage with them. Most of the time, low-key artists are given the opportunity to be known when they exemplify astounding performances even though they are not the main performers.

Pinay singer and Kapamilya artist Morisette Amon did not waste this once in a lifetime single opportunity to sing with the Hollywood artist, Jessie J. 20-year-old Morissette took part of the concert as one of Jessie’s chorus.  Alongside with other girls, the proud Filipina enjoys sharing her talent during this precious musical event.

Then when it was the time for Jessie to sing her hit single, “Who You Are”, she invited Morissette to the front so the Filipina singer could sing some of the parts. After Jessie’s emotional performance of the first part, she was shocked when Morissette just belted out her song like a total slayer! It seemed the whole of Araneta just heard a beautiful soul belting out such a powerful song. Morissette undeniable stole the scene from the Hollywood artist.

The footage which was uploaded by Facebook page Team Philippines already garnered more than 134,000 Facebook reactions and almost 40,000 shares! It is indeed Morissette captured the hearts of many netizens with her performance!

Moreover, the online community members seemed to all agree that Morissette deserves to have more exposure and projects as her talent is more than amazing. She is indeed a proud Filipino!

The Filipina singer is currently a regular performer in ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show, ASAP. She was given her major break when she joined the 2013 leg of The Voice of the Philippines.
