MUST WATCH: Here Are the 10 ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ Kids That We Don’t See in TV Anymore! We Know You Miss #7!

Know that sketch comedy show on Channel 2 which featured children in different comedic situations and had some of the today’s actors in their cutest forms back then?

‘Goin’ Bulilit’ never failed to make its audiences laugh with its gags, segments, and sketches that were delivered by children in different roles (usually adult characters).

It has already garnered plenty of awards ever since its release in 2005.

Among them were the ‘Best Gag Show’ by the PMPC Star Awards for TV 2005 (tied with GMA’s ‘Bubble Gang), ‘Best Comedy Program’ by the 12th KBP Golden Dove Awards, and the ‘Best Comedy Show’ in the 29th Catholic Mass Media Awards.

A few of the young casts themselves have received recognition as well, but have you ever wondered what happened to them immediately after their stint, or once they have fully grown up?

YouTube account ‘WhatsUp Pinoy’ released a compilation in the form of a video which showed ten of the ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ kids that people used to love back when they were still active:

1.   Chacha Canette

Chacha began her acting career when she initially appeared in Camella Homes’ commercial on TV.
It had a ‘Bulilit Sanay sa Masikip’ song. She gained recognition after that and appeared in ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ in 2009.

When she turned older, she shifted her focus in singing and wasn’t able to appear onscreen anymore.

2.    Aaron Junatas

Aaron won third place in the ‘Star Circle National Kid Quest’ before he joined the gag show. In 2005, he appeared as one of the original casts of ‘Goin’ Bulilit.’

Currently, Aaron is a teenager and continuing his studies.

3.    Basty Alcances

It wasn’t just Aaron who started out in ‘Star Circle Quest.’ Basty also began his acting stint on the show, along with his batchmates Nash Aguas and Sharlene San Pedro.

When he joined ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ in 2005, he was one of the original cast members.

4.    Eliza Pineda

Eliza was already experienced when she entered ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ because she initially appeared in the drama show ‘Flor de Luna.’

She became a third batch graduate in the comedy show after that and was allegedly one of the most reliable actors that came from that show.

Eliza is now 21-years-old and pursuing her studies at the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

5.    EJ Jallorina

EJ was a graduate of ‘Goin’ Bulilit’s’ first batch and had moderate success after he left the show.

He was widely known for his impressions of talk show host Boy Abunda, to the point that some audiences considered it better than Jayson Ghainza’s impression in ‘Banana Split.’

 Currently, EJ is already 23-years-old.

6.    Angel Sy

Angel was also one of the original cast members of the show. Because of her small stature, she was usually given younger roles than the other members.
Angel is already 16-years-old.

7.    Yong-An Chiu

Yong-An was part of the sixth batch of ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ kids and was best known for his role as Xi Men in ‘Meet Your Garden,’ a parody that ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ created.

Yong-An is now taking up Engineering in the University of Sto. Tomas.

8.    Mikylla Ramirez

Mikylla was part of the show’s fifth batch. She was given mature roles in the comedy show and was usually paired with CJ Navato.

Mikylla is now 18-years-old.

9.    Trina Legaspi

Trina or fondly known as Hopia was part of the show’s third batch. She is widely known for her impression of Kris Aquino, together with EJ’s impression of Boy Abunda.

Trina is already 22-years-old and a graduate of Miriam College.

10.     Noemi Oineza

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because Noemi is Jaine Oineza’s younger sister. Noemi usually portrayed “mean” characters in the show.

Currently, she is a second-year student in the University of Sto. Tomas.
